Index Stock Imagery, a commercial stock photography agency, wanted to take advantage of digital imaging to reduce cost and increase sales by making their collection of over 650,000 images more accessible to their customers.

We developed custom software and databases to completely automate the business process for managing and selling images. This included automated bar coding, image scanning, cataloging, key wording, customer service, and invoicing.

Multiple authors can work on different parts of the collection simultaneously. A workflow engine assured that all steps were accomplished before the image was posted for sale.
